Mr.Mrinal Choudhury, President, Assam Chapter, Legal Assistance Forum was invited as one of the resource person for the consultation. In his speech he narrated and explained the international documents, constitutional provision and various statutes made with regard to protection of Child Rights.

Mr. Choudhary ended by saying that all said and done the issues of child rights and the protection of the child from exploitation are much more fundamental and mere formulation of laws are not sufficient unless each one of us strives sincerely to protect and develop the children of this nation. To achieve the objectives and aims of the various resolutions and laws change of our mind set is necessary, such change can only be brought about by underlining the importance of the healthy growth of the child, physically, psychologically, morally and spiritually. |
