Legal counseling/legal advise cum assistance camp addressing various socio-legal problem such as provisions of Pre Conception and Pre –Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection),   labour disputes, matrimonial problems, Consumer protection matters ,which was attended by the  womenfolk and members of Social welfare Department, Delhi Administration.

Ms. Ritu Bhardwaj, Executive Member, LAF gave counseling on legal problems traced by women talk which facilitated people who joined the camp. She explained to them about Consumer Protection Act and apprised the people of the provisions of Pre Conception and Pre –Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act, 1994 which makes pre-natal offence describing a penalty and imprisonment both on commission of the offence and violation of the said provision. Ms.Rashmi Singh, Joint Director of Social welfare Department was happy to see the initiation of the Legal Assistance Department emphasizing on Legal Aid Camps by promoting awareness in the service of weaker sections of the society by operating legal aid clinics, imparting lectures especially in rural areas inhabited mainly by economically and socially backward classes.
