Mr. Vijay Hansaria, President, LAF alongwith Ms. Minakshi Sarma, Joint Secretary, LAF attended the General Body Meeting of the Mooters’ Society of Law Centre-I, Delhi University. The lecture session was attended by Professor –in- Charge of Law Centre-I and Patron-in-Chief of the Society Prof. Veena Bakhsi, Patron Dr. Anju V. Tikoo, the covenor Mr. Anand Mishra, other members of the society, co-guest speaker Mr. Vakul Sharma, Advocate Supreme Court, teachers and law students of Faculty of Law.

Mr. Vijay Hansaria addressed the gathering and spoke on the topic “Essentials of Good Legal Profession”. Talked not only about a professional insight to good advocacy but also trying to awaken and sensitize the future lawyers to their social responsibilities. Mr. Vakul Sharma, Advocate spoke about Cyber Law and its increasing relevance in the present day. This was followed by an audience question round wherein queries from the students was answered.

In the prize distribution ceremony Mr. Vijay Hansaria gave away awards to competition winners and achievers of Law Faculty both congratulating and urging them to work whole heartedly both towards their personal growth and social upliftment. The Patron-in-Chief Prof. Veena Bakhsi, the Patron, Dr. Anju V. Tikoo and Executive members of the society delivered their vote of thanks and a lot of interest was shown from the students regarding Legal Assistance Forum and its activities.
